What do they look like? Buckskin, Roman nosed, Mane is a little wavy, darker around the nose and eyes
What is there breed?: Lusitano

personality:Xato likes to be in charge. He is not an incredibly nice horse and is not afraid to put you in your place. He is fair in his own opinion but occasionally his judgements are bias. He doesn't particularly like males and can be especially hard on them. He is thick headed and stubborn and rarely admits when he is wrong. He can be described as emotionless and cold. He rarely feels happiness or any other emotion. His decisions are often very rational and logical. He doesn't take the consideration of other's emotions when making choices. Despite all of these things he is not selfish or self centered. He would always put a friend or herd member before himself in a dangerous situation. He doesn't think much of other's good deeds and expects them to be done. Good deeds often go without thanks when around Xato. He likes to eat, He likes being in charge, he likes females. He dislikes males, snakes and trespassers.
History: Xato was the illegitimate son of a loner stallion and a mare who had gotten separated from her herd. Xato had never met his real father and after the Stallion of the herd had found out what his mother had done, he banished her from the herd. His mother had to carry him and raise him on her own with no other horse's help. His mother was very strict and very angry about what had happened to her even though she had consented to mating with the loner stallion. She was very thick headed herself and wanted to rebel against the stallion who led her herd. It was the decision that she would regret for the rest of her life. Xato was an almost spitting image of his father and every time she looked at him, it reminded her of that day and what had happened to her because of it. She often let out her anger at the world on Xato which effected him mentally. He never gained a mental illness but, it changed his mindset. His mother was strict and cruel with him so, he was a strict as well. He never became cruel and there is no explanation why.
When he was old enough, his mother had told him that it was time to leave her. She wanted to try to join another herd but, knew it would be impossible with Xato with her so, she asked him to leave as quickly as possible. There was no heat-breaking goodbye or a dramatic exit. Xato simply nodded his head and trotted away.
