Only snow and ice cover this place for miles. Not even a lone rock sticking out from the snow, not a single hill or mountain. This is purely a barren wasteland. To try and cross it would be a sure death sentence. A herd could chase an unwanted visitor into this land or an exiled herd member to die. This land in almost impossible to live on. The grass here is buried deep and is frozen. The only water here is the snow. Though it would be impossible to live here full time, horses could come here for short periods for whatever reason and be fine. As long as they don't get lost....
