Yes the infamous rules! We understand that people don't really like rules so we try to keep them pretty basic. Please follow these rules so we do not have to warn/ban anyone.

Out of character rules

Please respect the mods/admins. We are here to make things fair for everyone and run smoothly.

If there is and IC fight please do not take it out of character. If you have a disagreement with someone then take it into pm with them and the admins and mods should be notified if it gets out of hand.

Please do not kill another persons character with out their permission

No spamming

Please give credit to the photographer that took the picture you are using for your horse ( I use equinenow.com for pictures)

Liquid time is allowed but please do not put your character in every thread

You are allowed to have as many characters that you can keep active.

You may only have one character that owns land and has a herd. You are allowed as many 2nd and 3rd in commands as the herd leader allows.

Only one of your characters one herd. Ex: You have a charrie named bob who is in a herd and another charrie named Larry who is a new charrie and you want him to join the same herd as bob. THIS IS NO NO NO.

Please do not copy another persons character. If a person makes a horse that is partially blind with a limp on a leg, do not make a character similar to that. Be creative!

You must keep your character active which means posting at least once a week. This is not to hard to do and if you are going to be gone for an extended period of time then please post in the absences thread so we do not delete you account and characters.

NO POWER PLAYING, GOD-MODDING ETC. if you do not know what these things are then this site could be too advanced for you.

There is a word minimum of 350 words. This is so your fellow role players have something to play off of. It is very difficult to play off a post that says " He was trotting along and stared at the new comer." We understand that muse is not always the best so we allow for a few posts to be slightly under the minimum but, if it happens too often then this site is too advanced for you.

Please do not post in character until your character has been accepted. It is up to the admins/mods do decide if your character meets the standards. Please do not take it personally if one asks you to change something.

You may have a dead horse but, you must pay for it in the store. Your dead character may not have superpowers ( no shooting lazes out of their eyes or turning pink). This is still a semi-realistic game. There are only TWO gods and I am one of them. The gods do not have powers either so you do not need to feel left out. READ MORE ON THIS IN THE DEAD REALM SECTION!

You are allowed to have all of your characters on one account but, you MUST keep track of them and the characters name must be clear before you start posting with them. You must keep a record of all the posts each of your characters are in. You can either post links to the threads that your character is involved in OR you can just write a description of what happened in each thread.

Please bold speech and Italicize thoughts.

Both females and males are allowed to join herds. But, your character cannot just waltz into the territory and join any herd they choose. The lead stallion or mare (whomever shows up to the joining post) will decide if the character gets to join.

ONLY a lead stallion or mare can decide if a horse joins or not BUT others may go with them for whatever purpose.

Thing to keep in mind when creating a character

This is a realistic horse RPG so please no purple eyes or zebra colored horses.

Horses cannot be taller than 17.3 hands high ( if you do not know what "hands" means then this site might be too advanced for you)

Your character cannot be perfect. Perfect characters are not fun to play with and are unrealistic.

Please be creative with creating characters. People that have horses that have been abused, beaten, neglected by parents is boring. Please spice it up a little bit. You are allowed to create characters that have been abused/beaten/neglected but, it better be unique.

Your character should have as many or more faults or character flaws as good things.


Please do not make your characters 2-dimensional. No one is completely evil or completely good. Please give your characters some depth.

Markings are preferred.

Personality must be at least 100 words and history must be at least 200

In character rules

please do not take in character fights out of character. It means nothing personal. Not all characters are going to get along.

If you need a plot or want to plot with someone then talk to them about it in pm, not in the c-box

No text talk in character. This is a literate site and "lol","wtf","rotfl" is not allowed in character.

Your horse in not all knowing, it cannot tell what another is thinking or what their intentions are.

Posting tables are allowed

Pictures should not stretch the page.

If you are in a fight and your horse gets hit you cannot just "take it" or ignore it. If you got hit then you got hit and you have to respond accordingly.

I will decide who wins the fight.

You may not be mates with yourself

You cannot claim land until after you have purchased a herd

You cannot role play with yourself

The Dead Realm

1. Your character may NOT have super powers.

2. You must pay for your dead character in the store

3. If you want to play your character who died, you must still pay for it in the store.

4. Your dead characters can mate but, they cannot have foals. Two dead things cannot make an alive thing.

5. The gods do not have superpowers either. They are simply the overseers of The Dead Realm. They are like the herd leaders of the dead.

6. There is only ONE herd in The Dead Realm and the gods are the leaders of it.

7. If your character is dead, they MUST be in the herd.

8. The dead only fight for honor, respect, truth and dignity.

9. You must pay for your dead character BEFORE you apply for one.

10. Your dead character CANNOT leave The Dead Realm. If an alive character wants to speak with your dead character, one of you or both of you must pay for either a temporary or permanent ability to talk to the dead.

11. The dead DO NOT control what happens with the alive characters. They simply watch over it and listen to prayers. ( your character does not have to pray to the gods or believe in them.)

Other

The rules are subject to change so check back occasionally in case of change but, we should make announcements when things change.
