Thunder rumbled quietly in the distance. The air was hot and sticky, more humid then the horse liked. Her muscled shoulders bunched underneath her a s she surged forward. Heavy black hooves grazed over the cropped grass, audits pinned hard against her grey head. Her dappled coat was still shedding its thick winter layer, causing a discomforting itch every time the mare moved. Black lengths flew behind her as she flung it up and down irritably. The fae was not having a good day.
She was normally even-tempered. Never can she remember being this upset. The weathered horse slowed her gait, halting her rampage. She kept her ears back, though she allowed them some room to swivel around her crown. For once, she is glad of her short forelock. At least it is out of her eyes. She felt temporary regret for the poor bastards who reside with hair in their eyes. Shaking her head, she lifted up a feathered hoof, slamming it back onto the ground again and again. vibrations snaked up her black leg, irritating her even more. With the whites of her eyes showing, she lifted her forelegs off the ground, throwing her head back into the tall rear. Jumping forward, she bucked wildly at the rain that began to fall. Lengthening her stride once more, she ran. Mud flung up onto her legs and belly, stinging the soft skin, but she didn’t care. Why should she?
The dappled horse had it easy. Food and water given to her, soft pets every day. What happened. Her damn stupidity, that what. Why did she run? Her stupidity, that’s why. Why did she have to spook so hard at the deer. The animal wasn’t out to eat her! The mare felt utter regret for leaving her rider in the middle of the icy road. Every time she thought about it, she felt like screaming.
In the distance, the horse spotted a thick grove of trees. Slowing her pace, she shook her head. Past images haunted her, but recent events left her hollow. For the first time in her life, she felt truly alone. Was every horse here as vile as Lycan? She hoped not. Otherwise, she really won’t have anything to live for. Wonderingly, she searched the horizon for mountains, pictures of cliffs flashing over her imagination. Shaking her head, she knew that she would never go through with a suicide. But the thought gave her a temporary smile. Lost in her mind, she slowly weaved through the trees. The trunks grew close together, and her thick bodice scrapped against the rough surface. She ignored the numb pain, moving blindly through the forest.
A smell pierced through her thoughts, catching her attention. Picking her head up, she inhaled deeply. The scent seemed fresh on the slight breeze that wafted through the trees. Ears pricked, she moved in the direction of the smell. Detecting gender, she determined the presence of a stallion, and a young mare. She hopes she is not intruding...again. Fear made her stop, a fear of vile words. She can’t take much more. Shaking her mane, she blew through her nostrils, stepping closer. Maybe she can find pleasant company.

Angel The sky thundered and boomed over the Arabian's head. It was frightening. The air was hot and her mane stuck to her neck. She didn't mind the hotness. It was giving her another chance to be a true Arabian. If she couldn't handle the desert, the least she could do was try in the humid forest. Small hooves traveled gracefully over the green grass. Cadillac had left her a few moments ago. He had been taking her somewhere and this must be it. She had chosen a peppy trot to carry her. She wasn't in much of a rush but, there was so much to see! This was a brand-new place and hopefully she would meet brand-new horses. Cadillac was nice but, he didn't seem to want to stay around. She probably would have stayed with him if he had wanted her to but, he would have rather brought her here. This place was nice though. It seemed as though he would rather just leave her here but, perhaps he would stay?
In the distance, there was a dappled grey mare who was seemingly upset. Was every horse here upset in some way? She thought that it was possible. Cadillac was upset and so was this mare. But, she had lightened the stallions mood, or at least she thought she did, so, why not go and talk to the new mare? There must have been a good reason for her to be so upset. Angel pranced right up to the mare, not thinking about the dangers of approaching a lone horse with seemingly a bad temper. The mare had some mud on her. Had she run through a pond? It sounded like fun! Hopefully if the mare indeed had run though a pond that she would take her to it so she could do the same. Hello, My name is Angel. Her voice was soft and peppy. She loved meeting new horses. Do you live here? Perhaps there was a herd here! Oh how wonderful that would be. Angel longed for permanent family and maybe this mare had one that she could join and Cadillac too! Angel was getting more and more excited by the second. How wonderful this day was turning out to be.

There...A slight flash of burnt gold. The mare shifted slightly to the side, peeking closer at the approaching horse. She determined that it is the young mare that she has scented, and not seeing the stallion, she nickered cautiously. Her grey brow furrowed in interest and her little ears pricked. Tossing her duel-colored forelock away from her eyes, she met the horse half way. It seemed that this is the company she has been looking for.
The filly introduced herself as Angel, and the dappled one smiled easily. The dear seemed like it. She moved her tongue around her mouth, wetting it to speak. Hello, Angel, she said, her voice a deep, motherly voice. My name is Iggy. The young one seemed quite happy and energetic. Iggy saw that she is an Arabian. She has never met one, and this was just as exciting to her, though she returned to her normally mild attitude.
Her smile faded a bit, remembering the horses that DO live around here. The mare that she had spoke with....well they wont become friends anytime soon. No, I am not from here. She refrained from telling her of Xato and Lycan. Where have you come?

Angel listened to the dappled mare as she spoke. She said that she was not from around here. Her name was Iggy. An interesting name, certainly not one that she had ever heard before but, interesting is good. Interesting is fun. I've come from Disyerto with a stallion named.....Cadillac? She was having a bit of trouble remembering exactly what his name was. He was Mr.Stallion to her but, she knew that wasn't his actual name and if the two had met before, chances are she wouldn't recognize his name being Mr. Stallion. But, before that I'm not really sure. Her brows furrowed as she tried to remember her past that was really not that long ago. She was a filly so, her life hadn't been that long. There hadn't been enough time for much to happen which was probably why she hadn't remembered much. Brains tend to only remember important things.
Iggly seemed like a friendly mare. Angel liked her. Maybe she wouldn't leave her like Mr. Stallion had. It kinda seemed that he didn't want to stay around her but, maybe Iggy would. Maybe she was feeling just as lonely as the filly was.
There was a slight scent of herd around but, nothing too strong. Either the herd was just created and the herd leader(s) were kicking Iggy out or, the herd had just died and Iggy was leaving the lands. Angel couldn't figure it out so, she must ask. Did a new herd just start here or did an old one die? I can smell a really light scent and I can't figure it out. She hoed that her questions weren't irritating the mare. She didn't want to be alone for much longer. It was starting to get scary out in the world all by herself. But, If Iggy wanted to stay with her, maybe it wouldn't be so scary anymore.
(( Sorry this took so long I've had a hectic week. If you wanna keep them together, She'll probably start thinking of her as a motherly figure hehehe XD))
